Im an Indian American Muslim born and raised in New Jersey and have lived amongst a very diverse community. Currently, Im working as a Financial Analyst at Church in Dwight. I genuinely love what I do and would love to be able to move up in my career, iA! I would describe myself as a fun, loving individual. Im an extrovert, so I do enjoy a lot of time around people, especially my family and friends, whether its going out to throw a frisbee around with my cousins, or having picnics, or even sitting at home and having movie nights. I enjoy being spontaneous - if I want to get out and do something, Ill do it as long as I have people by my side to do it. Id also love to travel more if I got the opportunity to do so. In my free time, Im usually playing piano, or attempting to learn a new instrument, watching movies/shows, or even taking on a new house project.Im a practicing Muslim and Ive spent a lot of my time surrounded by Muslims as well as people that come from the same background,... more culturally. Id say I have pretty modern views, but I also hold onto my traditional and cultural roots; however, Im aware of the fine line between culture and religion. Islam was something I was raised around, this includes my friends and family and Alhamdulillah I can proudly say that Ive been able to keep my faith strong and constant in my day to day life. I pray 5 times a day, I do go to our local masjid as much as possible, as well as following the sunnah of the Prophet (pbuh) to the best of my ability. My family is also very religious and theyve really helped me understand and build myself on Islam.                                                                            Im looking for a partner who is also firm on their faith; someone who is positive, has good character, down to earth, open-minded and is a people person. Im an empathetic person whos always there when someone needs help and would want the same in my partner. Someone career and family oriented with long term goals. At the end of the day, we should help each other in becoming better people and better Muslims. I believe two people should have patience and a good understanding to be able to get through whatever life throws at them.
