I consider myself to be a level headed, introspective and thoughtful person, until it's time to be spontaneous and throw caution to the wind. I have a spiritual bent of mind. I have come to firmly believe that for me to have a fulfilling life and to reach my highest potential, I ought to cultivate a deeper connection to my feelings and emotions, good or bad. Healthy nutritious food, yoga/exercise, self care and meditation are the rungs of the ladder to the promised land. Marital relationship with a strong, sensitive, kind, thoughtful, compassionate and honest partner, in addition to being exciting, joyful (and likely nerve racking), can be a huge catalyst for personal growth. I love to cook; nothing gives me more... more pleasure than flipping a pancake and massaging a fat lumpy dough. Except dancing. I used to go out a lot for social dancing (Salsa and Bachata). However, there has been a significant reduction in the frequency of my excursions since getting good sleep has moved up on my priority list.

My profile wouldn't be complete without showcasing my nerdy side. I get joyful looking at a beautiful math equation or a well written prose. You may find me chuckling through a low brow tabloid gossip, following the intricacies of a captivating movie plot and the inanities of a chick flicks alike.

I do not have a travel bug, but I do travel once or twice a year to attend conferences and other times to visit friends and family. Once I'm done with the trials and tribulations of the conference, I like to cut loose. I put on my tourist cap and travel around for sightseeing and local food with an open mind to try new things. All in all you can take me as a good BAD-approximation of Anthony Bourdain.
