Hello, and thank you for taking the time to visit my profile.
I would describe myself as a thoughtful, grounded, and culturally curious individual who believes in continuous growth, both personally and professionally. I come from an affectionate Punjabi family originally from Amritsar, and my upbringing has helped me balance modern perspectives with deep-rooted values of compassion, integrity, and togetherness.
Academically, I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from San Francisco State University and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Gender Studies from UCLA. While I was always passionate about literature and understanding social dynamics, college played a pivotal role in deepening my awareness of mental health. This led me to pursue a path where I could contribute meaningfully as a therapist. Today, I work as a mental health therapist with adults, couples, and families, helping people navigate their emotional landscapes with care and... more sensitivity.
In the long term, I aim to establish my private practice while exploring creative avenues and fulfilling my love for travel. Experiencing new cultures and perspectives is something I deeply value, and I hope to see more of the world. Spain, Greece, Istanbul, Egypt, and Bali are high on my list. I recently visited Oaxaca and Mexico City, which only deepened my passion for cultural exploration.
When it comes to food, I enjoy trying new cuisines; Mediterranean, Thai, ramen, and Italian are some of my current favorites. I like a little kick of spice in my meals and am always open to exploring new restaurants and flavors. My playlist is just as diverse as my palate; it includes Punjabi, Pakistani, Bollywood, R&B, Spanish, Arabic, and a bit of hip-hop and rap.
I'm mostly organized by nature but flexible enough to enjoy spontaneous plans too. I believe that balance is key in work, in relationships, and in life in general.
I belong to an affluent Punjabi family from Amritsar. My father is a businessman, and my mother is a loving homemaker. I have one younger brother. We uphold moderate family values and share a close-knit, supportive bond.
Thank you again for stopping by. I look forward to connecting with someone who shares similar values and is kind, emotionally aware, and open to building a partnership rooted in mutual respect and meaningful connection.
