He is currently a fourth-year PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Toronto, Canada. His fully funded doctoral research focuses on cutting-edge Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence applications aimed at social good, particularly in areas such as education, cognition, and mental health. Through internships at Microsoft Research in New York City, his work has directly influenced widely-used Microsoft products.

He holds an undergraduate degree in Computer Science Engineering from VIT Vellore, India (2020). Before beginning his PhD, he gained professional experience at leading global organizations, including McKinsey & Company and JPMorgan Chase in Mumbai.

Outside of academics, he is active and passionate about sports, captaining the University of Toronto's graduate badminton team and regularly competing in tournaments. He enjoys long-distance running as a way to stay fit and unwind, and occasionally plays guitar in his leisure... more time.
