Short note - I have a doctor family, where:

I also wanted to share something honestly from the start:

(1) I'm planning to move back to India next year (mid/late 2026) - most likely Goa - to build a health, wellness, and yoga-focused startup. Though I'm living a comfortable and financially secure life in Canada, I feel a strong desire to create something of my own, and that's why my dream is to eventually leave my current job and pursue this path fully. Regarding settling abroad, things are still open-ended; at the moment I'd prefer to be in... more India to spend time with my family after many years away, though the future can naturally evolve.

(2) Diet & lifestyle: I should also mention, very respectfully, that I am a complete teetotaler (non-alcoholic), and my family follows the same lifestyle. It's something that matters to me, so I would be most comfortable with someone who also refrains from drinking, even socially or on special occasions. In terms of food, we are a sweet little mix - mom is vegetarian, dad is eggetarian, and I occasionally eat non-veg. Since right now I'm the only one who eats it (and that too sometimes), we never really feel the need to cook non-veg at home. So I only have it if I'm out with my friends; that too if only the other person is having (I like sharing food.. otherwise there is no fun in eating a dish alone :)).

My name is Name Visible on Login. I was born and raised in Delhi, and moved to Canada after completing my high school. I have been living here for more than 10 years and am now a Canadian citizen, and also hold Indian OCI status.

Academically, I hold a B.E./B.Tech (Hons, 5 years) in engineering from Ottawa, Canada, and I am currently in the final semester of my M.S. (part-time; thesis). Professionally, I work as a Cloud Software Developer in the R&D domain of 6G.

I would describe myself as simple, decent, and down-to-earth - someone who finds happiness in the little things, values kindness, and believes humor makes life better. And a fun fact about me - I am the black sheep of my family where everyone else pursued medicine while I chose engineering. So maybe don't ask how much I scored in biology back in high school - let's just say I passed the exam, and my friends deserve some credit for that :)
