I did my B.Tech from IIT Delhi and have a PhD in biomedical engineering from the University of California Davis. After finishing PhD in 2018, I worked as a biomedical data scientist for two years at a well-known biomedical research institute in San Francisco, and switched to a researcher position in 2021. My family, friends and colleagues seem to like me. I guess that means I can safely say that I am reliable and respectful.

I enjoy playing music, partner dancing, and hiking. Before the pandemic, I used to go out to social events frequently and lately, I have been focusing on research endeavors, specifically in cancer data science and personalized medicine at a medical school. All of my family lives in India. I visit India whenever I can (about once every year). I have friends all over the world and don't feel rooted to any one place/country. In San Francisco Bay Area, I have made lots of professional connections in industry and academia. Given that the US is home to major biomedical research hubs, finding career opportunities here is easy for me (I-140 in progress for green card application), but my professional profile is also well suited for opportunities in India. I'm at a crossroads currently and debating whether to stay in the US or relocate to India. A good match in the US or India can tip the balance for me in favor of either country.
