Hi there! I'm a software engineer at OpenAI, living in San Francisco, California. I moved to the US for my Master's degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University and have been working here since graduating in 2015. I speak Kannada and English fluently, and I also know Telugu and Hindi. I deeply value simplicity, kindness, and curiosity, and appreciate these qualities in others.

I grew up in Bangalore where my parents currently reside. They're both retired Kannada professors. My older brother is settled in Australia with my sister-in-law and nephew. Our family is liberal-minded and not particularly religious.
