I usually tend to be analytical as I navigate through life. When it comes to people, I try to be empathetic and compassionate in order to truly understand each other. I value different perspectives and consider myself an open-minded person. I also believe that nothing should be taboo to discuss and exchange ideas about, we can all learn from each other, whether it be successes, failures, joys, sorrows, or anything in between. I really enjoy a good open conversation about anything in life. I love learning new things, whether they be related to my field of study/profession or not. Understanding how the world (or things in the world) works, helps me appreciate it a lot more, and therefore I enjoy that process a lot. I have completed my B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Model Engineering College and am currently working as a Senior Engineer with National Instruments.
Time away from work is spent in games, music, reading... more journal papers, learning something new or building something as a side-project. For important things, I dislike surprises and want to plan as much as I can, including multiple backup plans (though life has a funny way of going off-track and then having to improvise anyways despite all of that). For simpler things in life, I am pretty easygoing and plan on the go. I also love solving puzzles, watching anime, and exploring new recipes in cooking. I listen to a variety of music: From Classic Rock/Grunge to EDM/Trance to Movie/Anime Soundtracks to even Indie artists. It's very hard to classify my musical taste. I wouldn't necessarily say I'm a movie buff, though I do watch movies and tv series occasionally as people recommend me stuff. Most of my "content consumption" related hobbies are either youtube or podcasts or anime. Visiting Japan is part of my bucket list. I relish food and love barbecue, biryani (from any region of India), Asian (from anywhere), Italian (from pizzas to pasta), Mexican, etc, basically anything non-vegetarian, I'll enjoy.
I come from a tight-knit family based in Kochi, Kerala. Comedy (inside jokes especially) and food (big foodies) are perhaps the most common themes. My dad is a businessman and my mom is a loving homemaker. I have one sister who works as an analyst in Bangalore.
