I am looking for a suitable partner for my daughter.
She has completed her M.S in Computer Science and is working as a Senior AI/ML Consultant for one of the big 4 accounting firms. She is on H1B status and her firm is working to prep for I140. She lives in New York. We would want a match who would treat her as his equal, a true partner and companion in every phase of life, who appreciates spending quality time with family, while balancing his career and building a life with her.
My daughter in her own words:
Heya! I am a fun-loving, independent, hardworking, and ambitious person who strives to strike a balance between taking on the world while soaking up every experience life has to offer. I am an Ambivert in my personal life but an Extrovert in my professional life, how did I accomplish that? Let's talk about it if we take this further!
There is a lot to talk about my academic and professional profiles/wins but I believe what makes a good... more partner has to do with who they are overall and outside of their daily jobs. I love my job, have worked really hard to get to where I am as a first generation immigrant to USA, and I am sure you must have too. We can talk more about our journeys thus far later on.
Here's what I do when I am not working/having fun with my dream job:
I like making delicious homemade lattes, and experimenting with meal prep options that can help maintain my energy levels throughout a work week. I am into Pilates (3 days/week), and Boxing (3 days/week). I love singing along my favorite songs while I cook, I treasure reading self-help (putting them into practice is the best part for me) and sci-fi books, going for hikes/ MCU movies with friends, traveling solo/ exploring new places (I may want to try Vanlife for a couple of years!), learning about AI startups and VC, thought-provoking podcasts and clubhouse sessions, and occasionally binging a sitcom or a well-written series. My friends would describe me as: great karaoke partner, kind, thoughtful, pragmatic, fiercely loyal, and a great cook.
What are we looking for?:
I (Name Visible on Login) believe it's never too late to work on oneself to become a well-rounded individual. I am always reading something that fortifies my mind, and for a few weeks now, I am working hard to strengthen my body. I value and respect others' time, just as much as I value mine. Given this is a matrimonial site, I'd like the groom or groom's family to talk to my father, or my mother first, before I begin investing my time with a prospective partner. After we begin talking, I'd like to get to know the person for at least 6 months. Given we are to spend the rest of our lives together, collaborating as a team to build a life for ourselves together, I think 6 months is a reasonable time to talk about all the topics/concepts of what matters to each other, build trust, understand what's negotiable/non-negotiable to each other, and decide if we'd like to take it further. My family and I respect all traditions, and we aren't concerned about Horoscopes. We believe it's up to the two people in the relationship to want to work things out together rather than relying on a possibility. If you have any other questions for us, please don't hesitate to ask. We wish you the best in your search for your life partner!
