Ambalavasi, or Ampalavasi, is a Hindu community believed to have initially hailed from the Indian state of Kerala. Fluent Malayalam speakers, some Ambalavasi families are matrilineal while some are patrilineal.

Traditionally associated with temple services, such as teaching, supplying flowers, musicians who sing sacred hymns, and dancing, there are generally two beliefs within the community.
